Newsarama said the identities of Flamebird and Nightwing will be revealed this week in Action Comics. I usually get those, but I probably won't make it into the shop for a few weeks (at least until after our vacation at the end of this month).

In the silver age, they were Jimmy and Superman. More recently they were Supergirl and Power Girl.

Who are they this time?

Some think it's the angel Supergirl and Conner Superboy, but there's been evidence that Superboy will perhaps become a Black Lantern.

Perhaps it will turn out to be Match, Superboy's clone, who becomes cured of his degeneration problem.

Wikipedia already spoiled it.

They are ...
Thara Ak Var and Chris Kent
Not bad. Many people thought that the person who turned out to be Flamebird was actually going to be Superwoman. So now that leaves the question ... who is Superwoman?

Other people thought Superwoman would turn out to be Matrix-Supergirl. It would have actually made more sense if Matrix was Flamebird, because of her flame powers which are similar to what Matrix had at one point.

But she's not Flamebird, so maybe she's still Superwoman.

I think Lana Lang is Superwoman, for some reason. There was one issue when they were talking about Superwoman and the artist drew a close up on Lana. It just seemed convenient to me.

We'll see.

Here it is ... from Supergirl #36

Maybe it's nothing, but it seems like foreshadowing to me.

Well, General Lane told her that he knew who she was and Luthor could have perhaps used that Metagene process of his which once gave Steel's niece super powers and may have perhaps used what data he had on Conner's genetic structure, his kryptonian half, to make the human body mimic a kryptonian one.
