If there's anyone who was meant to play Jonah, in my humble opinion, it would have been Clint Eastwood. In fact watching Josey Wales is like watching Jonah Hex without the disfigurement. I'll ink this with the X card previously posted, and two more, all at the same time.

Since Clint is older now, here's a reasonable followup for Jonah. At least I'd dig it. When I first saw X-Men and Magneto was holding Wolverine in the air in that train car and Wolvie realized Magneto was there for Rogue and he turned his head in horror...he looked just like Josey Wales right there.

Cool, I just figured it was too soon for some to see him in his cowboy hat again so soon.

That would be my only problem with Jackman in the role. I'm not sure he has the acting chops for a role like that. After seeing Brolin in No Country for Old Men and American Gangster he'd be excellent. I've yet to see him in Bush, Mister Giles...well...you know what I mean. :D

I agree about Brolin versus Jackman. Jackman may not be able to be Jonah.

Yeah Alex and I'll throw in some color as well for the Comics for Cure benefit. Last year I just did pen sketches for it and was blown away by the amount of time and work a lot of folks put into them..So it motivated me to step up my work this year. The hardest thing is working on these small surfaces. Thanks for the comment.
