wow great find. funny that jim lee almost drew it.

my favorite quote of the whole article:

From the Socialist scrapper Superman of the Depression years, through the Super–Cop of the 40s, the mythic Hyper–Dad of the 50s and 60s, the questioning, liberal Superman of the early 70s, the bland “superhero” of the late 70s, the confident yuppie of the 80s, the over–compensating Chippendale Superman of the 90s

You nailed it, that is my favorite quote as well.
I think that Grant has nailed how u right comics, delve into the past understand and embrace the entire continuity!
He's so open minded he really is a better role model than the majority of writers in the field. Ellis and Moore are just not into comics, they don't have the love Grant does for the medium!

yeah, though the comments at the bottom pissed me off. All-Star superman was great, yeah, but the dbags on there turn around and hate on jim lee! oh, nerds...

i read a very interesting blog where the writer compared morrisons batman to millers.

Is it just me or does Grant modeled himself over Lex Luthor's persona?

that was excellent and another instant-classic Morrison interview. Can't believe they're shooting for 9 more :har:

Moore's into comics...just not into films about his comics.
