Well kinda...a bit of a redesign i guess. Basically a quick sketch that wound up getting inked (until i didn't want to fill in the blacks cuz thats how i roll)...and then colored in a VERY half assed way. haha

*note: I realized later that my screen is apparently dark as **** so im just putting the colored one up for fun, i know my coloring is lazy as hell. Buy me a new comp and a tablet and i'll do better :D

Hi,

Overall it looks purty, but I am not fond of the nose part. If you had left it, it could could have been a slight bit cooler. But that's just my opinion.

Yeah i was going to, and still plan to, shit just keeps getting in my way and i don't have a lot of time to draw so its a miracle i got this out even lol. But as u can see im doing a hulk pic and also have a thumbnail for a full body venom pic i want to develop once im done with mr. banner.

i never cared for the overly huge mouth with all the insanle teeth and drool. this "skull" version with the teeth and nose and big spider eyes and the symbiote flowing off his back is the best version ever. THIS should have been the "ultimate" version"

Your interpretation of it just creeps me out (seriously, I had to comment, but I had to scroll down quickly past the images :laugh: ).

Only thing is, to all the people saying, "why give marvel this idea", they already did it. There was a story arc in Exiles (I believe) where Spider-Man still had the symbiote, and when someone used sound waves to hurt it, it revealed that it was basically the symbiote over Peter's skeleton.

This is a pretty unique vision of Venom, alright. It's more brooding and subtle than the out-of-control idea of Venom that alot of artists are quick to mimic. I don't know how I feel about the "skull" look of the face though.... Maybe something for Marvel Zombies? It could also use the white spider symbol somewhere on his chest, maybe something exaggerated to fit this version, I don't know. The coloring is A-plus. Digging the symbiote activity too. Good stuff!
