hey everyone, I have a lexmark 1260 printer/copier/scanner and Im scanning my pic of the first page of my webcomic. What is a good resolution to scan it so it can be inked well? Do I have to play around with it until I can find a good resolution?

I'm fine with 300 d.p.i. but sometimes and some of the people who color and letter more often then I do a 600 d.p.i. scan according to posts I've read here.

Well it can pretty much be anything above 300. That's the optimal dpi for a physical print.

600 dpi, always a tiff file. After the colors are done it can be reduced to 300.
