The Long Halloween wasn't that great... And I didn't care for Dark Victory. I think Jeph Loeb's work is too cartoony in it's presentation of drama and violence.

That's ridiculous. Superman/Batman by Jeph Loeb is so much better than Ultimates 3 by Jeph Loeb; I mean, whoever wrote U3bJL is clearly an incompetent buffoon who couldn't write his own name without help, while the guy who wrote SBbJL is a genius of the novel form on the order of Balzac or Dostoevsky.

Anybody know the names of those writers? I'm too lazy to look them up.

The only graphic novel I own is "Iron Man: Armor Wars". Was that written by Jeph Loeb also, or maybe by his brother, Earl?

Jeph Loeb has written every graphic novel ever printed, including John Byrne's Next Men vol 1, and even Alan Moore's The Courtyard.

He also publishes all of Marvel and DC's books each month in his off time. He considered publishing all of Image's books, but Marvel tempted him with the Red Hulk, so he passed.

Next: "I just don't know what to believe any more!"

Sadly, no. I'm sober as a Baptist, but I wish I were trashed like a Catholic.

Sadly, no. I'm sober as a Baptist, but I wish I knew where to hook up with a Catholic priest to show me the advantages of being drunk and in his office ;)

Can you guys not take anything serious? geez.
