I just picked up "Spies, Vixens and Masters of Kung Fu: The Art of Paul Gulacy", and man, I was blown away! I'm embarassed to say that my only exposure to Gulacy's artwork was the 3-issue "Reload" mini he did with Warren Ellis. I'm going to see if I can find some reprints og his Shang-Chi stuff, his 007 mini, and the couple of Batman books he did, "Prey" and "Terror". This guy's a genius.

I colored a 4 issue Squadron Supreme: Hyperion/Nighthawk story he draw about a year and a half ago. The colors aren't amazing, but it might help you get your fix and get me a few cents on the royalties.

The only reason I went hunting a while back for old Shang Chi back issues was because of this guy's work. Fantastic stuff with angles, shadows, and action. Proud to say I own most of that run + other random works by him!

Try "Six from Sirius" 1&2. To see his true genius. If you can find it.

I loved his stuff back in the old days, sometimes he's a bit stiff but his depth is amazing.

If you like James Bond, check out Serpent's Tooth, a Bond mini-series that Gulacy drew for Dark Horse in the 90s. It was as good as most of the Bond movies, and Gulacy's art was excellent.

Gulacy did some fantastic Batman work in the past, particularly on the Legends of the Dark Knight series.
