As the title states, I pulled my copy off the shelf.

Kirby was a genius!

Gripping, action packed, great art. Now I've gotta go on a Kirby hunt for more books!

Are you reading the black and white trades on the recently recently 4th World Omnibuses? There are also Kamandi, Silver Star, Devil Dinosuar, Eternals and more Kirby goodness available in TPB or HC. (those are just the ones that I recall from unpacking my books recently after my move).

I just read all of New Gods for the first time a few months ago. Amazing stuff! It was like taking a swim inside Kirby's brain and not wanting to come up for air.

I plan on buying the 4th World Omnibus Editions....

Just read the OMAC HC and enjoyed it.

I forgot about the OMAC HC. That's sitting on my shelf as well.
4th World is a really dense read. I sat down to read a couple issues and 2 hours later I was on 2-3 issues in.

Best news of all regarding Kirby: They are finally, finally, finally reprinting THE DEMON this year!!! I've been waiting years for that.

I recently finished the 4th World Omnibuses and Omac as well. All these Kirby Omnibuses are worth picking up, even if you've gotta scrimp and save. They're really well done. Glad they're releasing the Demon, look forward to picking that up as well as the Silver Star, and Mark Evaniers Kirby! King of Comics book.
You should check out his Black Panther work, the later stuff from Marvel. Those trades are pretty wonky too.

I got the first Fourth World omnibus for Christmas. I love it. I'd never ready anything New Gods related before that. I love Mr Miracle.

---and Mark Evaniers Kirby! King of Comics book.

Buy it. You won't be disappointed. Probably the best comics-related book I've read in years. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
