This weeks re-imagine is from ponrl.
Any mech, transformable or otherwise, that was aired on U.S. television between 1980 thru 1989 can be entered.

Media: Pencil, pencil & ink only.

One Condition: people that enter cannot choose the same character/mech to draw, and if you take part, you have to call out the mech you are going to draw.

The deadline is Friday 8th 11:59 pm PST

seriously i'd be more inclined with a two week limit. the weekend is needed so much for me to participate. except for this one... i'm not very good at mechanical constructs. my re-imagine for the green hornet draw-off as an exoskeletal battle tank didn't turn out anywhere near what i envisioned it to be :cry:

Just noticed pencils and/or inks only... and Ive already spent 2 hours with my trusty sharpies.... grrr...

Dont suppose it could be changed to all media? I dont believe theres a prize so doesnt seem like it would matter :P I would prefer color to be available for these things as Im a hellishly slow penciller but am lightning quick with markers :P

If not its cool Ill just finish my color mech and post in the artists section or whatnot and wait for next one... unless it is 2 weeks and I find time to do another :P

yah Im a big fan of the colored sharpies, tend to try an stay away from the blacks with my colored shtuff...

It's my modified version of the original Getter Robo, added several touches inspired by Shin Getter and Black Getter as well as some of the coolest toys of it I've seen on the net.

I rushed the inks on this screwing it all up but here it is. I re imagine starscream to be like a banshee from Irish folk lore. His mouth piece opens up sending a sonic scream that can turn a human to liquid in 1 second. He was initially also supposed to be a mix of the old g1 and new movie designs. I failed miserably.

It was suggested that I enter this, to keep to my penciling which I've been lacking on lately... and since the deadline is extented, I'll try.
Don't know much about '80s mechs, so I'll just draw Optimus Prime.

Here we go, it's 3:30am in the middle of the night and I have my entry.
Optimus Prime, maybe not some of my best work, but work nonetheless. Mech's are hard for me, but it was nice taking a change from what I usually draw:
