I had thoughts of using "found text" from various sources (i.e. newspapers, magazines, books, etc.), but I'm still not sure. I actually have no idea right now. It could go either way.

I gotta thank everyone for their compliments and kind words about these paintings (here and in my earlier post). I really appreciate it. I've taken these to some conventions and I repeatedly got the same response. "These are beautiful, but they're not 'commercially viable'." They won't sell, apparently. So, I'm grateful for the positive feedback which tells me that people are interested and do respond to these images. Thank you.

This is not a traditional narrative, rather it is designed with what Scott McCloud refers to as Aspect-to-Aspect transitions and Non-Sequitur transitions. The attempt is to create the overall mood and atmosphere of war.
