Hey all!

I'm VERY sorry I haven't been posting here as much lately as I have in the past.

To say I've been uber-busy would be an understatement... but I assure you that I'm VERY close to revealing what been keeping me "off the radar" so much as of late.

Here's some quick updates on... EVERYTHING.

TALES OF MR. RHEE
The "bad" news is... with the end of Chapter Six of TALES OF MR. RHEE, the title will be going on a several-month hiatus before we start "Volume Two" (which will feature the last six stories of this "arc.") The main reason behind this is to allow myself, Josh (especially), Austin and Jim some breathing room and to get caught-up again so we can run Volume Two without delays (like we did for most of Volume One).

The "good" news, however, is that the a complete collection of the first six chapters of TALES OF MR. RHEE have been collected *IN PRINT* and will be available for sale as of this Thursday. Unlike the last ill-fated NIGHTMARE WORLD graphic novel (more details on that in a moment) TALES OF MR. RHEE Volume One: "Procreation (of the Wicked)" HAS ALREADY BEEN PRINTED -- with an newly colored cover to boot! Seriously... I sold some myself at the Pittsburgh Comicon this weekend and they look SWEET!

Details on how to order the book will be made available at www.NightmareWorld.com (http://www.NightmareWorld.com) this Thursday... so check things out there this Thursday!

FARSEEKER
The current plan is for Len O'Grady and me to continue the adventures of FARSEEKER this Summer! This is a series that Len and I have been working on "behind the scenes" for YEARS and we were both blown away by the reception you guys gave it... especially considering that it's not "horror." :p

In the meantime, though, we're tickled to announce that we've also printed the first FARSEEKER story and are making it available for sale this Thursday as well!

Again, check www.NightmareWorld.com (http://www.NightmareWorld.com) this Thursday for all the details.

NIGHTMARE WORLD
First and foremost, I want to apologize for the delay in getting both the last story and the TPB out there for all of you to enjoy.

The massive website "freeze-out" we experienced last year struck at the worst possible time and it really screwed us on a lot of fronts... but that was then and this is now.

To this end, the plan is for the final NIGHTMARE WORLD story to start running in May -- in color -- even if it's only at the rate of a page a week.

As for the TPB... it's print-ready... but in lieu of some new events I think I'm going to "tweak it out" a bit and have it ready for sale this Summer to debut at Wizard World: Chicago. Keep your eyes peeled for that announcement...

THE SUPER-HEROINE CONTEST
For those of you who missed it, my entry was HOPE and it placed "third" in the popular vote. There's still a VERY good chance that the story will see print, though... so, again, stay tuned. ;)

(Sorry -- that's all I can say about that at this time.)

OTHER ONLINE BUSINESS
Staying in touch here can be tricky sometimes... so I'd encourage each of you to also consider getting a "MySpace" account and adding me (http://www.MySpace.com/NightmareWorldComic) to your friends list if you want to stay in touch a little easier. That's NOT to say that you should abandon checking in here often... because there's STILL things I will only post here. I do use "MySpace" to talk to friends with more ease, though...

YOU!!! YES, YOU!!!
Most importantly, I want to thank all of you who come here and read the posts and such (yes, even you "lurkers") for your continued support. We had a rough 2007... but 2008 is going to be HUGE-HUGE-HUGE. I've got three words (that are more than words) for you to back it up, too:

"Mind Over Matter"

You heard it heard first, folks...

SINcerely,
Dirk Manning

Oh... they will... that's a PROMISE.

It's not that I have anything to complain about when you look at the big picture... because Cthulhu knows I have A LOT to be grateful for.

However, I've also come to the realization that sometimes you need to take matters into your own hands... which is exactly what I'm doing. Sometimes it's just a matter of... well... Mind Over Matter.

(More details VERY soon. :har: )

YaY! I cant wait to see the next step of Farseeker!! :bounce:

I just spoke to Len the other day about this and we'll be rolling onwards SOON. He already has the next script... so it's just a matter of time. :har:

In the meantime, though, I'd reccomend that EVERYONE check THIS LATEST NIGHTMARE WORLD UPDATE (http://www.NightmareWorld.com). :whistlin: :whistlin: :whistlin:

SINcerely,
Dirk Manning

Thanks, my man!

Your random act of kindness has spurred me into offering you all a "Sneak Peek" at THIS (http://www.MindOverMatterComics.com)... although I'm going to withhold further comment (in exchange for rabid speculation) at this time. :p

You know... because I don't want people to think I'm TOO nice...

That is deep fried awesome, Dirk. By the way, will you be at Comicon? I think I'll get the chance to this year.
