Garden City PD (http://youtube.com/watch?v=XSLBtm__aKw)

Did some research on this. Everyone speculated that this was a fake. I've came to my conclusions.

Saw this on a TruTV show this past weekend.

It's not fake.
Look at the left side of the fence, it's broken (One minute thirty-four seconds). The driver hit the fence, it layed down, and then popped back up.
The officer should have kept going, the fence would have fallen for him too.

It was reported that the fence was never broken.

One of the studies that I've came across (http://supernaturalparanormal.com/?p=220)

Many have speculated that this was a fake, but it was never proven to be so.

Pause the video 1:34, you can see it for yourself, that fence is broken on the left side.
My father was a police officer for twelve years and I've heard a lot of stories.
That "ghost" car tells me the cops made a mistake and they're embarrassed about it.

So it seems more likely to you that a ghost was drunk driving than that the broken fence went unreported? Who's writing these 'reports' anyhow?

If it's Garden City, Kansas I'll find the fence myself and take pictures of it.

Your conclusion, then.

But I find it pretty baffling that they would show this video on National TV just to say that this is a fake, and while everyone came to those same conclusions that you've stated, there was no facts that pointed to say likewise.

So......if there are no facts about this being fake, then tell me......how can this be wrong if you're one of the same people who came up with the similar conclusion that you have?

People will believe what they want to be true. There are so many possible explanations for this that don't involve the supernatural bending of physics. I would guess that the fence was either broken, or bent some how to let him through, but I would believe that the car was a hologram before I would jump to the conclusion that it was a ghost car.

Okay......

Soooo......

LOL Solved!
Pause the video 1:48.

You can see the fence, very clearly, hanging down broken on the left hand side of the screen, he piled through it, leaving a broken fence behind.
It makes no sense that this would be on TV as some sort of mystery.

This video has baffled me since I first witnessed it on "worlds wildest police chases" two years ago. I have tried researching this however the PD made it difficult by censoring out the date of the video. There are 12 states w/ a Garden City making archives hard to research. It just seems unusual to me how the dust settles at the fence and there is no remaining vibration in the fencing 5 seconds after the impact. But like everyone will say, "the only explanation is that he went under it"

Pretty obvious what happened...he just went under the chain link fence. They're usually just tied to the posts with some wire, he hit the fence broke the wires at the side but it stayed attached at the top, and it slammed back down as he passed under...You can even see the fence still flopping back and forth as the cop pulls up to it. Cop coulda went through just as easy but probably stopped just on instinct.
That is very fake... Look at the timeboard at the upper-left. "at simingly super-natural speed" - LOL. The camera is fasten up - nothing more!

And the "past-through-the-fence" - At the moment when the car disappeares it was much lefter then the view through the police-car-window... it might simply pass the fence much more left (where the fence ends) and the backlights are visible seconds after from a greater distance through the police-car-window.

These similar conclusions what everyone said here makes it right versus the facts......

More studies (Common knowledge) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paranormal)

Paranormal is often used to denote unusual experiences that lack an obvious scientific explanation. Stories relating to paranormal phenomena are widespread in popular culture and folklore, but the United States National Science Foundation has stated that mainstream science does not support paranormal beliefs.

And yet, what I underlined was pretty much making my point. Most (NOT ALL) will write it off as something that can NEVER happen, but in some cases, no facts are provided that says otherwise.

No, I see no similarity in those pics, other than they're grainy.
I don't see how posting a picture of a person in a car contridicts me not believing it's a "ghost" in a car.

The reason the video was played on national TV is because it's public property.

I do not believe in "ghosts", and if I did, I'd hope they'd have better taste in cars.

what do you mean? What are the facts? Why is multiple people coming up with a logical conclusion detrimental to the argument?

A car running over a fence would be a pretty mundane car chase, but a "ghost car" makes for good TV. I haven't seen the fence, and the so called supernatural aspect conveniently happened when the camera was pointed away. There is no evidence to examine.

1. Yes I have.....
2. Everybody does, but that doesn't explains this.....
3. A common emotion that is embedded in the human psyche.

They have posted the same thing that you have posted on the TruTv show. You just stated that the picture is grainy, but yet TruTV showed the shot almost clearly. That shot you've made plus the shot from the paranormal site look similar, so yes it is contridicting.

The reason the video was played on national TV is because it's public property.

I do not believe in "ghosts", and if I did, I'd hope they'd have better taste in cars.

Not knockinig your beliefs. That is fine, but it is YOUR BELIEF. That doesn't make it a FACT!!!

You can say that you don't believe in trees, but does that concludes that it is a fact? Especially one can just go outside and see that they are TREES around him/her? The same goes here. I CAN not believe in most things in life. Many have chosen what lifestyle that will benefit them in their lives. Most go in, head first, and not know what they're getting themselves into. But in the end, it is out there, whether you believe it, or not.

I have provided links, statements, and analysis on what I stated. It is up to you to figure out what I said. It is all there.

And if a "ghost car" makes for good TV, then you should check out "Ghost Hunters" and even meet Jason Hawes at Dragoncon and tell him the same thing you have told me.

That's a fairly cop out answer. Your link was a definition of paranormal. I know what paranormal means. What does that have to do with whether or not this car was paranormal. Your statements are mostly from people that support my position that this was an ordinary car chase. I suppose if it is up to me to figure out what you're saying- I'm failing miserably.

And if a "ghost car" makes for good TV, then you should check out "Ghost Hunters" and even meet Jason Hawes at Dragoncon and tell him the same thing you have told me.

I would, but to what effect. I'm sure many many people have told them the same thing, some people believe because they want to believe. No amount of logic will change the minds of people who don't want to have their minds changed.

It is the same because I was approached not to long ago by a person who wasn't a believer in LIFE (trees, water, air that we breathe). Weird things are out there, and weird things can come from us humans in general. The same holds true to Ghost, and the paranormal activities, but the average human being will cast someone who have studied this phemenon for years crazy, or weird. Judging doesn't make it right. It just makes you partially ignorant to the subject at hand. Many will say "oh that's not true, there's no such thing as ghost" because maybe they haven't experienced this activity before. maybe they have came up with their own conclusion that it doesn't exist.......a common thing for a human to conclude amongst themselves, but does it make it right? If so, how? By opinion versus facts about the paranormal? Can many find their own conclusions to a common problem versus a paranormal activity? This extends to common activities (video games, sports, life) to unexplained activities (again life, paranormal, the human psyche, UFOs). One is based on opinionated research, but both are based on FACTS.

What I don't belive is that it is a ghost driving a ghost car. Perhaps it was one of those "trees" you mentioned driving the car?

I believe that the fence gave way to the car. If we had links, all we could prove is that it really was a fence. Fence? Links? Get it? Nah, me either.

The car went under the chain link. It gave enough that it looked like it went right through. That's my guess. Yes, it's only a guess. It's the same guess I had when Stacey Keach first told us the story.
