I just watched this collection of short films made by Akira Kurosawa, based on dreams he had. I found it very enjoyable- no tricky directorial hijinx, but some poignant stuff and gorgeous visuals. Anyone else seen it?

A long long time ago...I can't remember much except an old guy in a park?

That's probably the last vignette- a tourist wanders into a nameless idyllic village with many watermills, where an old man tells him all about the ways of the village (no electricity, harmony with nature, sort of stuff) and then they join in a joyous funeral procession for an old woman who had just died.
