I was just wondering if anyone knows what happened with it. I think, if I'm not mistaken, a one Caleb Monroe (I forget your username if it's not that man, sorry) had posted here regarding it linking to his own acquired Engine talks, ala http://calebmonroe.com/comic-writer-services/. But that's just some of the cool threads that came of it. I was wondering what happened with it, I remember Warren talking about how goofy the server was and then it just disappeared.
Any cool stories about it, what happened with it, what's gonna happen, anything really, I guess this is The Engine thread.

He put up a farewell post to the Engine on his blog site and took it down. He pulled the plug sometime around the end of August I believe.

Warren Ellis had only planned for The Engine to last for a year, but it outlived that before he finally shut it down.
Some of The Engine folks have migrated to Panel and Pixel (http://www.panelandpixel.com/forum/index.php). On Wednesday, Ellis launched a new message board, called Whitechapel (http://www.freakangels.com/whitechapel/).

WhiteChapel certainly feels more like the diepunyhumans site.

I didn't know he started this new site. I like it better than the Engine. The Engine had to many stupid rules that were arbitrarily enforced.
