The subject for this week's draw off was suggested by Premature Inker. You're going to draw YOURSELF! That's right, draw yourself as any super-hero you want.

Let's have fun with this one!

The deadline is Thursday, 11.15.07 at 11:59 PM. Anyone editing after the deadline is disqualified.

I think it has to be a new drawing as of thie posting of the event...It insures we are all given the same mount of time to plan and execute.You could always "say"it is a new drawing and cheat but we don't do that here now do we?.

dude, you have until 11:59 PM thursday...and thats OUR time. You're in Tehran right? thats what? 7 and a half hours ahead of us here on the east coast of the states? do the math to get your deadline once the timezone being used for us is specified.

So wait a sec.. I did an entry of an original character first.. but switched it to Iron Man cus i thought we had to use already creater owned characters, Marvel, DC, etc. .. can I take that down and put my orginial up? or would that bias the competition? :cry:
I don't see why not, as long as you edit before the deadline (whatever that ends up being :p ). You might want to get an official ruling, though...

i can't vote... i mean i can but i won't... it's kinda hard, i always go by the slogan of originality, but i see only a few of us with their own self as a hero and more people with other characters costumes, and most of the second part people have great stuff goin on here, i won't vote for my self but i have to say that original guys did a great job, so did the costumed folks, phat man, primature inker, BIO, you all did stunning jobs. nice job everyone.

I really liked them all,
but I voted for Newt, Mistermaxx, and PrematureInker.
Newt's was perfect.
P.I. is always awesome, but that sketch really made me think of watching John Romita Sr. sketch for a day (I was his go-fer/bitch a long time ago on the Marvel Mega-Tour)

Most of my friends laughed a little too hard at it...you know, that laugh where it's more at you than with you? Thanks for the vote!

Everyone's pieces were so great, but I had to go with all the originals. Mainly because after seeing them, I felt like doing one of my own. Great stuff everyone. :thumbs:
