This week's subject came to me from Spacious Interior; he wants to see Capcom characters, and I do, too. However, I don't want to limit it to just one game, I want to see you pick two characters from two different games fighting. The participants of the drawing cannot be from the same game. Make it interesting!

The deadline is tomorrow night (11.07/2007) at 11:59PM Central. Anyone editing after the deadline is disqualified.

Here's my go at it, a Licker from Resident Evil versus Mega Man...actually, its more after the fact so it's better defined as a Licker from Resident Evil and a part of Mega Man.

Maybe not an all-nighter after all. I might just be able to get this thing up in a few hours.

Normally I wouldn't go this far for a draw-off, but I haven't painted anything for myself in a really long time.... and hey, I got 24 hours right?

This one ran me about 6.5 hours. A few spots I'm not happy with though. This guy was tons'o fun. I can't believe I've never taken the time to draw any of Capcom's people. There's so much variety. I need to hunt down and pick up that Art of Capcom table book when it comes out.

I like it!!...I think yours should be able to stay in on the account that it looks great and you did it just for the draw-off.One word of notice?...you cut off both hand,arm and foot...composition no no's...lol.

Yeah.. that's what happened. He's actually beating the hell out of someone on another piece of paper that I forgot to scan in. Yeah! That's it.This is the upper right section of the 4 canvas insanity. Victim lower left. That's exactly how it went.....

Composition? What's that? No seriously though. I used the golden mean grid turned on 45 degrees. His arms and left forearm/hand create parallels drossed by the lines created by his right leg and spine. within the box they create, his head upper right and his eye upper left, it's still a legitimate composition that uses most of the page successfully. I think what I could have done though is camera out a bit.

Because now that you mention it, I can only assume he's standing on his left leg, his toes seem to be missing completely and chopping off his right hand at the wrist should probably get me executed.Good thoughts for next time. Always a pleasure, fella's.

And if the Draw-off Gods deam it worthy of being counted, I'm greatful. If not, I understand why. I'll sacrafice a goat and hope for the best. :cool:

Look BioFungus... I used Spidey from Marvel vs. Capcom thats one game. street fighter is the second game. yes I realize some street fighter guys were in marvel vs capcom. but thats why I only have SF guys in the web ball :) :bounce:

Thanks everybody...This is always a hoot to get in on these draw-offs...I haven't had much time for the past couple so this was a great opprotunity..what I love to see is that everybody is improving and making this even better competition and bringing in new members as well.Congrat's to everyone.
