I was a big fan of ALIAS Comics and tried to pick them up where I could. Now I can't find the books, the web site, MySpace, and even the Wikipedia for ALIAS is going completely without update.
I know they divided to accommodate the mainstream and Christian markets last year, but after that, I can't seem to find out anything.
Anyone know anything about this?

Actually they did away with everything but Christian when it came down to it. Mike S. Miller took his non-Christian titles and started a new studio called Abacus (http://www.abacuscomics.com/abacus_main.htm) . You might check Community Comics (http://www.communitycomics.com/) as they were affiliated with Alias at one point, and are all Christian.
Then of course there's Mike Bullock's Gimoles, which is coming back soon from Runemaster Studios (http://runemasterstudios.com/) . That was originally with Alias wasn't it? Or was it Speakeasy I'm thinking of there?
Oh, and titles like Tenth Muse and so forth are at BlueWater Productions (http://www.bluewaterprod.com/) now.

Alias was like Image and Speakeasy, just a conglomeration of self-publishers.
As a result most of the titles have ended up elsewhere.

So basically, ALIAS really doesn't exist anymore?

I was collecting them for awhile. The art in Muse is terrible, so I dropped that title, along with all there other titles.
I'd hope to see Lullaby at Image soon.

I really enjoyed this title and while it had some similarity to DC/Vertigo's Fables, it was really a totally separate entity and not a ripoff or copy at all. It was a cool all-ages story and the art was gorgeous.
To think about it is a little disheartening. I mean if something of this type of quality can find success in the industry...

Yep, Alias went the way of the DODO, and is ABACUS Comics. Also disappeared.

I think Mike S Miller is probably concentrating on the George RR Martin adaption he did with DBPro/Marvel and is continuing with Marvel now the dabel deal is ended. Sworn Sword, its the follow up to 'The Hedge Knight' that Mike did for Dabels a few years back.
