View Full Version : Ron Phillips appreciation thread

It has come to my attention that Ron 'The Architect' Phillips, the man who keeps this site from being swept into the ditch along the Information Superhighway, is not sufficiently appreciated by the users and abusers of Digital Webbing.

So here is the place for us all to express our gratitude and delight, even those cheapskates who won't pay their membership dues to help support the site.

Three cheers for Ron Phillips!

I appreciate Ron to the extent that when i see somethign that's completely awesome I say "DAMN! That's RonPhillips!"

Let me demonstrate:

Page 1 panel 4: Dano walks down sidewalk as Dr. Doom appears floating in the sky. Spider-man swings into the scene just behind Doom
Doom: "Bow down in fear, for I am ..."

Page 2 panel 1 Splashpage: Spider-man kicks Doom in the balls. Doom doubles over.
Spider-Man: "JAKE BILBAO, aHOYYYY!!!"

Page 2 panel 2 small inset: Dano looks up amazed.
Dano: "DAMN! That's RonPhillips!"

I like Ron Phillips because he's polite and he's rarely late.

Also, he shares the same second name as my brand of mp3 player, which I call Ron.

Wow you guys really ha ... like me.

Adulation is much appreciated ... but I'll have to pass on the sex, gay or not, unless you're the following ... Hmmmm ... I'd put up a wish list but my wife who in-frequents the site, and surely would if I posted such wish lists. Maybe she'd accept offers of leg shaving ... but that might obligate me to shave her legs which usually turns out for the good ....

Wow. I'm really taken aback ... maybe I should whine more often. For a while there I was actually enjoying the negative attention Buckyrig was giving me.

Thanks for not ignoring me.

Did I ever tell you about the time Ron Phillips took me out to go get a drink with him? We go off looking for a bar and we can't find one. Finally Ron Phillips takes me to a vacant lot and says, 'Here we are.' We sat there for a year and a half and sure enough someone constructs a bar around us. The day they opened we ordered a shot, drank it, and then burned the place to the ground. Ron Phillips yelled over the roar of the flames, 'Always leave things the way you found em!

Liar! While I don't doubt Ron's power, if you were being beaten by Chuck, you wouldn't be able to post for a year at least! Now Mr. T, he pities foo's, so I could see where Ron would have a brief moment to intervene before the beating, during the time T was pitying you.

Ron Phillips killed my wife...

... and I've never been happier.

I was never actually found guilty, but if I had killed her whilst wearing the bloody gloves, which were too big by-the-way, I'm glad it has made your life better.

And since you are so happy, can I have some of the money back from the civil suite and the book sales? I could really use the money.
