I woke up in a great mood because a HUGE project I've put five years into is finally coming to fruition.
Ultimately, I've decided that being a part of DW for the last year or so is what got me to dig this thing story out clean it up and finish it off.
So here it is... if you love DW and you actually know why, tell us. Any projects you're peeps have helped you get through? Creative blocks unblocked by random posts? Sure, Thanksgiving is a good long ways off, but screw that noise. Halloween is way cooler anyway, and I'm thankful now, damnit!

DW really got me going, and is partly responsible for my lack of sleep now. Thanks DW!!! No seriously, I will forever be grateful to this place... :) :)

On the one hand, this site is the one thing that consistently stops me from working. On the other hand, it's only because of the people on here that I'm getting anywhere with my fledgling career.
It's sometimes too addictive, but I never feel like it's a waste of time. DW's done a lot for a lot of people.

I love DW because I know that I can always come to Chit Chat for a laugh, Members Only for a reality check, and Artist Showcase for a reminder to pick up a damn pencil.
I love you guys.

DW is like pot, good in short doses and very helpful but too much probably won't do you much good.
This place sucks!
I kid, I kid! Actually, I've almost completed my first sequentials, thanks in part to encouragement from some of you weirdos.

You've pretty much summed it up for me.
I had abandoned doing my art for alot of years. When I finally decided to get back into it, you DW'ers really challenged me to work off the rust and step up my game.
And on that note - I should probably get to work on some pages right about now, but I haven't received my daily fix of DW laughs as of yet,.....soooooo here I am to get my fun drug!

See, that's the thing. The ones who make it as a result of hanging out on DW are almost taken away from it by their success. It sucks that with hard work comes less Chit Chat!

I love this place as it inspires me creatively. I went through a bad artists' block two years ago and with help from people here, I got through it.
I also appreciate all the support that I receive here because of personal things going on. You guys have been wonderful at keeping my spirits up and I really need that.
Thanks so much for everything

The ASPCS-S never puts down a healthy singer-songwriter, but we need help. This poor soul was abandoned by his owner and spurned in favour of writing. Without your $5 a month, we'll have to keep him in a facility and feed him nothing but lemon zest and potato starch.
Please give generously.

I come to DW to be informed, amused and grossed out. I'm rarely disappointed.
I've learned so much here it's nuts. You all keep me thinking and not assuming. It's addictive. If I'm working on a boring job, I can pop in here for a few moments and get my fix; gives me something to think about(or worry about) while I grub away at graphics. I've been here long enough to watch some of you really grow as people/artists/writers. You all are family, my crazy family that keeps me sane. :har: (I know, here comes the WHACK!)
OK, back to the John Deere graphics :yuk: I don't know why but I hate working on JD, it might be the yellow and green... anyone want a job?

Brick Tamland: Yeah, I stabbed a man in the heart.
Ron Burgundy: I saw that. Brick killed a guy. Did you throw a trident?
Brick Tamland: Yeah, there were horses, and a man on fire, and I killed a guy with a trident.
Ron Burgundy: Brick, I've been meaning to talk to you about that. You should find yourself a safehouse or a relative close by. Lay low for a while, because you're probably wanted for murder.

Well, according to Wikipedia (which I intend to continue to use as a quick and dirty source of information on just about everything) Bobby Dazzler was originally an Australian sitcom.
Bobby Dazzler (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bobby_Dazzler)
However, it's used in this country to indicate something fancy in an unusual kind of way. I'm explaining this really badly :( Just think of Screeny in a leopard-print thong - that's a bobby-dazzler!
