I frigging dropped my pencil in the toilet while taking a wizz and now I don't have anything to draw with. SUCKS.

me, i'd kill anyone who would touch my pencils and lose them. i've been to every shop here in my place and they don't have it available anymore. :mad: i don't draw without them. :)

thats what you get for drawing dirty pictures on bathroom walls. especially since you're only supposed to do that in public restrooms, not in your private bathroom at home :laugh:

It was at my studio. Not home. If I was at home I'd would have paid my kids a nickle to fish it out. Plus I have those super duty gloves at home too. But its sort of a spartan existance here at the drawing hole. Very limited resorces.

yeah wood floats so you can't really flush it. Plus my toilet has talken worse than a 2H Lumograph. Oh boy. Last winter it got so friggin cold here my septic tank system froze solid and it backed-up. I had to travel 5 miles for number 2. For number one I made yellow snow. Major sucked. It was like that for 40 days!

Seriously the nearest Art store is in Las Vegas which is 250 miles away. Online order wouldn't arrive untill next week.

Wal-Mart, my friend, has mechanical pencils. They are not artist quality, but they will do in a pinch. :) Seriously. ;)

Actually I haven't updated my bio. Right now I live in Enoch Utah, Which doesn't have Lumograph pencils. Its got the yeller ones (which I'm using now) but they have a much softer lead which I don't like.

Okay let me better explain myself. I have pencils but I usually do all my comics in 2H Lumographs. I don't know why. I just do. And I just happened to drop my last 2h that is longer than an inch and a half in the toilet. My studio is a single wide trailor out in the middle of no where. The nearest Art store is in Las Vegas which is 3 hours away. Salt Lake is 4 hours away. I am indeed continuing my art chores with other crappy yellow number 2 pencils I stole out of my daughter's backpack, but it's just not the same. I know it sounds stupid now but at 3:30 in the morning; still having a panel to draw before going to bed, it was a big deal. Call it space madness. I went around talking like duckie from animaniacs for an hour, and this tread seemed completely logical at the time.
