COLUMBIA, S.C. -- David Chadwell believes boys and girls can get through the awkward middle school years better when they're separated, learning in classrooms tailored to the learning styles of each gender.
As the country's first and only statewide coordinator of single-gender education, Chadwell is helping to make South Carolina a leader among public schools that offer such programs. About 70 schools offer the program now, and the goal is to have programs available to every child within five years, he said.

The whole reason I went to school was to socialize with girlsThat really does explain a lot.
I'm not sure whether I approve of this or not. It seems silly, but maybe it could be helpful.
Or it could turn everyone gay and cause the U.S. population to crash, sending the world economy into a death spiral. Who can say for sure?

As the product of a single-sex highschool, let me say this.
Do not, under any circumstance, send your daughter to a single sex school.
The stories I could tell.

FA and the other girls got into trouble and were forced to work in the cafeteria and live across the hall from Mrs. Garrett.

That is the worst Penthouse Letter ever! :slap:
You people are fucked up.
I'm talking about the social retardation, the complete lack of preparation for the actual world as it exists and, most importantly, the frankly terrifying level of bitchiness, stroppiness and tears created by a large group of hormonely-fuelled females, all ragging at the same time, with only Mr Smith, the 80 year old music teacher, as a focus for all that pent up tension.
I don't care what study says it's better. It's a fucking nightmare that only a sadistic or misguided parent would force their child to endure.

I love how some people assume that their experience is universal to all people.
