There is a dark circle that appears around the girls eye, but I think it's one of those weird tricks your eyes play on you. You pretty much have to stare right at the center of the eye though. I noticed more that it almost looked like she was getting sadder, but not really. More in the vein of looking at the Mona Lisa for a long period of time, you start to think the picture is a certain way, but you just can't tell.
