AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! (http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/09/27/border.security/index.html)
http://www1.freewebs.com/makin-isreal/mushroom_cloud.jpeg
"Although the southern border appears to be substantially more secure, we did identify several vulnerabilities on federally managed lands where there was no CBP [Customs and Border Protection] control."
As of May, the U.S. government had 972 Border Patrol agents on the northern border but almost 12,000 on the southern one. The United States and Canada share more than 5,000 miles of border, while the U.S. and Mexico share 1,900 miles.
Oh look, also we're so full of shit. :sure:
You'd think identifying someone with a backpack full of radioactive material would be pretty easy.

I think it's obvious what the only possible solution here is.
A reality show where we strip search all the attractive women who come across the border!

Maybe it's just my bad taste, whenever I see the mutant scene on Robocop I near piss myself laughing it's so overdone.
If judgement day is really on the horizon I'll embrace it, I'll go in furniture stores and sleep in their beds.

You want to watch out - if the natives find out that you have a power supply in your teepee, let alone an internet connection, then they will burn you for unholy warlockery! Run to safety of England at once and have a nice cup of tea!

Bah! That's nothing. I heard that someone strolled accross the Scotland/England border last week with a concealed haggis in a tartan duffle bag. I just don't feel safe anymore! When I was in northern England some years ago, I visited Hadrian's Wall, which formerly kept the savage Scots out of Roman Anglia. As I was snapping photos, an RAF jet screamed from north to south. It's not really a border anymore.

And we're back with more fun and games. (http://www.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/africa/09/28/Senegal.Spain.ap/index.html)
DAKAR, Senegal (AP) -- In one commercial, a mother says she hasn't seen her son since he left eight months ago. The scene cuts to a young man laying face down on a rocky shore, as Senegal's most famous troubadour says, "You know how this story ends."
Determined to curb the influx of illegal migrants, Spain has gone on the offensive, pouring $1.4 million into media campaigns in Senegal aimed at highlighting the risks of dangerous sea journeys that have claimed countless lives.
In another, a grieving soccer player tells how a friend died along with 50 others, "and the rest were repatriated." The next shot shows a lone soccer ball rolling out to sea from an empty shore.
Am I not supposed to see all this as fantastic comedy?
