I know it has been on release since 2003 but I tend to avoid 'trendy' books after the mishmash that was The Da Vinci Code

But woah! Just, woah..

I do not think I have been so emotionally-drained from reading a book in all my life.

For the unnitiated WNTTAK is about a fictional school massacre.

It is written from the perspective of the killer's mother, Eva Khatchadourian, and documents her attempt to come to terms with her son Kevin and the murders he committed. Although told in the first person as a series of letters from Eva to her husband, the novel's structure also strongly resembles that of a thriller.

It was a harrowing book... and I could not put it down. Which leaves me feeling a bit disturbed. Even more so.

I thought you were going off on Melrose, I was thinking "What could he possibly have done to piss off Scott"?

Y'know, I initially thought the same thing.

Y'know, I initially thought the same thing.I sincerely hope that you do not bear even the slightest resembalance to the Kevin of the title.

On a good day, no.

I have Pearl Jam's Jeremy stuck in my head, though.

If I ever had any parenting ambitions then this book has set them back another ten or twenty years. Which means I will probably be ready to be father a decade after I am dead.

I definitely won't read this book then, being a parent is not the easiest job in the world, doubting every single thing after reading a book like this then, probably won't make it any easier.

I thought the thread was about Kevin too....
