Along with Janson (pencils), Sienkiewicz (inks) and Maleev (colors).
Unlike all the other 'The End' stories that Marvel has unleashed over the past few years, 'End of Days' is full-on cannon. In continuity. Pretty interesting, huh?
It might feel kind of odd reading DD's monthly knowing definitively how he's going to die one day. But it's gonna be one helluva story!

What?! That is the biggest "superteam" I've seen yet. Like, Klaus Janson, Bill Sienkiewicz and Alex Maleev, plus Mack and Bendis, this is insane. Personally I don't like BMB, but his and Mack's stuff on Daredevil has still been really good, I'm just sad that Mack isn't doin the art on this one.

How can you say the ending of a comic series that is never going to end is "canon"??
Once new writers come in, they will change it. It's stupid to think otherwise.

Well, I'm pretty sure that's why Marvel never attempted to say the other 'End' stories were cannon. They new it would be useless, plus all of the stories sucked except for Garth's 'End' for the Punisher.
If Marvel wants this to be cannonized, and I think they do, it wouldn't be hard to micro-manage DD's title to ensure it is. It's WAY fucking easier than trying to make any type of 'End' cannon for a book like X-Men. That's impossible AND worthless. And Marvel knows it.
But it's possible with DD. Especially when the story is going to rock hardcore!

And Hulk's end. But yeah, the others sucked.
Plus: This will be awesome.

The only two "End" stories I purchased were the Hulk and Punisher ones, both excellent stories (if far fetched) that seem appropriate enough to fit in as canon. The only thing missing from the DD cast is that killer Miller/Mazzuchelli team :w00t: .

Hulk: The End was a good read and as far as i knew it was cannon.
The Bendis DD TPBs are on my must read list so I might pick this up. Not too thrilled about Mack's work but I'll try to look past it.

If I'm not mistaken, wasn't the X-Men: The End one pretty good? I think it was in someone's top ten non-collected stories a while back. Probably Wizard. Haven't read her myself.
