Cool, thanks Mike. Love the song but that was my first time seeing the video actually.
I haveta say....I think "disappointment" is too strong of a word but I still found it kinda...trite. In my mind's eye I always envisioned it the exact contra-positive of Lennon's words, a barren world without God and, the human animal realizing this finality, killing itself. As in, "Imagine there's no heaven, above us only sky," and this lament after humanity has never learnt any lessons and is choking off into a wimper. While certainly germaine, the fact that the video brought it back to simple materialism (more or less) wasn't what I expected... I dunno.
And since I was checking out videos I dug up this one, one of my classic favs:

And now, better metal (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xIZsojH-WT0) .
The expressions that guy makes crack me up. And, because I'm 100% fluent in Japanese*, I'll translate the song for you:
I rock harder than you gaijin fools,
I like to work at my desk.
Then these chicks show up
with hair over their faces
and fuck my shit up.
Fortunately, my band has HUGE HAIR
and BLISTERING RIFFS
So when the hairy chicks show up
and drown me in the tub
They'll keep rockin'!
"Aijin 28" is Japanese for "Rock you Like a Tsunami".

It was English folk singer Roy Harper, whose other connection to classic rock is his name's inclusion in Led Zeppelin's 'Hats Off (to Roy Harper)', from Led Zeppelin III.
You may also be interested to know that Nimrod does not mean 'moron'; it is the name of a mighty, but ungodly, hunter in the Old Testament. Its use as an insult is probably traceable to Warner Brothers cartoons, in which Bugs Bunny refers ironically to Elmer Fudd as 'Nimrod'.

Partly true:
Nimrod
"great hunter," 1712, in ref. to the biblical son of Cush, referred to (Gen. x.8-9) as "a mighty hunter before the Lord." It came to mean "geek, klutz" by 1983 in teenager slang, for unknown reasons.
However:
nim·rod (nmrd)
n.
1. also Nimrod A hunter.
2. Informal A person regarded as silly, foolish, or stupid.
ie. It can mean moron because of popular use, as that's where most definitions come from. If everyone uses nimrod to mean the latter, then it would become acceptable to use it as such.
