I got permission to show this.

I saw Mike's colors a few days ago and I had instant ideas for Jim's work.

I hope I did a well enough job on it and I this was the fastest I ever did colors before.

Personally i like the other color scheme from the mock-up cover but good work.

I think what I'll do is change his color a lil bit so he stands out more from the bg.

Just to chime in a little to give everyone an idea of what I was thinking when I did this...My first portfolio review by an artist in the industry was by Eddie Newell..(man I hope I spelled his name right.) At the time he was doing Black Lightning for DC. On his table he had the original penciled cover to the 1st issue. It blew me away and to this day is one of my favorites. Colored it is an impressive, energetic piece. I'm far from Mr. Newell's cover but it's my attempt. I think these were both good pieces.
