Hey gang, I know this isn't a tech support forum, but I'm desperate for help. I'm in the middle of a couple of lettering projects and suddenly my copy of Illustrator won't load. I get this message:

MICROSOFT VISUAL C++ RUNTIME LIBRARY
Runtime Error!
Program:...trator CS\Support Files\Contents\Windows\Illustrator.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

Adobe responded that my version (Creative Suite 1.3) is not entitled to technical support. WTF? Anyway, I've also posted on their support forum, but I was wondering if anybody here had any ideas?

Could mean your virtual memory's too low for the program to run. I don't know...

Try a reboot.

You might also try this:
