the colours are lovely and really made this pic. You could have done some more work on the gun blast IMO and the orange hand doesn't look like gold metal to me. I use a very pale yellow with a reddish-tan brown gradient for gold metals and then crank up the contrast and brightness on the various bits - like I did in this pic --> http://www.seanellery.com/gallery/albums/userpics/chakata2a.jpg . You can then add reflective and toning effects for the lighting colours etc over the top using overlay layers etc.

Pencils-wise though, that sword is waaaayyy too long and I also hate it when pencillers draw in light flares etc. (I figure I can do that just fine by myself thankyou. I have the same attitude to smoke effects - just TELL me that it's meant to be there and a rough idea of how and leave the rest to me...) but that's not your fault.
