Warren Ellis's Black Summer

Anybody else see the preview for this in, uh, Previews? It looks friggin' awesome, the art was really Geoff Darrow-esque. It's supposed to be out this summer.

I would highly recommend Scars. Also worht checking out are the numerous Strange Kiss series, which try to top each other in gross-out material. Dark Blue is a good read. Ellis's Bad Signal columns are entertaining as hell, too.


He also has a book called Doktor Sleepless coming out this summer from Avatar.

I just finished reading this, so far so good. Ellis rarely screws up with his creator owned characters. His warped mind along with taking current issues and blending them together is beyond reproach. I believe this will prove to be another unsung hit for him.
