I really hope that lack of new issues being solicited in the Marvel previews catalog is because Warren Ellis is running behind and not because this book is already canceled.
For anyone not reading this book, newuniversal takes what a lot of people considered bad 80's comics, gives them a new metaphysical/sci-fi twist and throws them together in a plot fans of the tv show Heroes would love.

Yeah, not familiar with the original, but this book is pretty awesome. Hopefully they'll give it at least a solid year or two and give it a fitting end before wrapping it up.

There was a new issue out this week...#6 I think?
It was a good Ellis day, what with newuniversal and the Fell TPB.

Picked up #6 but to date #7 has yet to be solicited.

It's possible that Ellis has fallen behind a bit. I remember reading a post by him on the engine a while back where he was in complete shock at Salvador's speed. Marvel had just notified him that Salvador had already plowed through 6 scripts.....apparently, that was the first update he had been given on the art progress and he figured ol' Sal was still on issue two or three.

That's a bummer.... as of August there still wont be an issue #7 and #6 ended with a bit of a cliffhanger. Marvel is releasing the first six in a hardcover though so that's a good sign it will return for at least six more issues.
