hi guys,
what's the standard lettering height for normal dialog on a pre-scaled 10"x15" page? a little less than 1/8", or 3mm?
i hope this question doesn't appear every week and you're all sick of answering it (or i missed a sticky post).
thanks!

First I think most of us letter at print size, that cuts down on the file size a bit. (Unless of course you're putting out an oversized book) And usually the best advice is to try what looks right, print it out, see how it reads and compare it to other books. I'd say most fonts you use anywhere between 6pt and 8pt for the font size...I have no idea what that would be on a 10x15 scale.

ah, i didn't even think that it'd be scaled first.
thank you, kel.

When scaling, scale the actual art in Photoshop (or what have you)...do NOT resize the art in Illustrator. While it DOES work (especially Illustrator CS and up) it make for a ludicrously large file size.
