Howdy-do --

Here's an early version of our logo for this years Comic Book Challenge.

I'm not a 100% on the color... but those are the color of the main character, Joe Fable. I'm pretty sure the star will need some tweaking.

I've also posted some early character sketches of the main character in the artist area.

Umm... font is badaboom BB (Blambot)

made with my new MAC MINI

and no star...

the "@" really sticks out like a sore thumb to me.

in your original blue/orange combo, the black/white was yelling at me to look at it first, if that makes sense...

I do like the star better than no star, but what's the star represent? Is it just a graphic element for the sake of a graphic element?

Don't get mad at me, but this isn't a logo, it's a font with an outline.

It's perfectly fine to use a pre-made font (we all do, generally), but you need to funky it up a bit. Otherwise it's just a font with a star in the middle of one of the letters.

The star is part of his outfit and too spice up the logo a bit.

I'm not digging this logo, sorry. It's the font. It doesn't say Diner to me. I'd take a look at road signs for this one.

Just don't get discouraged. I went through about 15 incarnations of the logo for Loaded before I was finally satisfied.

And even now...
