View Full Version : Help on Drawing Motorcycle and Driver

What I was reffering in the above is things like Ghost Rider and his flaming bike, sort of. How do you draw such thing? Motorcycle first or the driver first?

I would roughly sketch the whole thing so you have the general look and composition correct.
then, a bit tighter, start rendering the bike; mostly the shape and some details that are important such as foot pegs and handle bars, seat. Stuff the driver will interact with.

Once you have your bike shape and mechanics set, you can start building on your character rough sketch.

I'd also recommend looking at some biker reference. It's one of those things you have to get the pose just right or it looks hokey and fake. look at how people sit, where their feet are, hand placement, etc.
