So I finally bought NBA2K7. Great game I must say... The game is really good. Some of the characters look dead on and them some are horrible... Like Kobe looks exactly like real Kobe. And Shaq looks nothing like himself.
The dif. difficulties in the game don't really apply if you're the Lakers I've noticed. Even if you have energy/fatigue and injuries turned on. I've played in Pro, All-Star, and Hall of Fame mode and as long as you get Kobe the ball you'll win by like 20 points. He barely gets tired, and even if he does just run up and shoot a 3 it lands. He's rather unstoppable. Which kind of annoys me actually... Because I tried Hall of Fame mode with a few other teams and lost miserably.
The online game play sucks... The graphics are slightly lower then the real game, and those online guys in the game don't know how to do anything but dunk... Its hard to get in a game too, because most ppl like to play as the lakers and if you chose the lakers they just boot you from the game.
The game is also missing players, Ronny Turiaf and Shammond Williams are no where to be found...
And the player creation straight sucks too... I liked the premade faces in 2k1. Atleast I could look good playing as myself. There's too many sliders and then if you change just the slightest thing all the other ones change too. I changed the size of my guys eyes and next thing I know he became white...
The signature dunks are fun. It was just awesome performing Kobe's reverse layup dunk. It's cool the super-stars all have their signatures in the game and they don't all just do the same thing. Kobe also has the Michael Jordan "free throw" line dunk and then does the classic MJ shoulder shrug, impossible to get him to do it though. I've been trying and no luck to make it happen twice as of yet. But the players really act like the real ones, Kobe, A.I., and Lebron are dead on. The way the move, shoot, and crossover was captured to perfection.
Achievements seem to be a problem... I started a season and I've played 11 games already and haven't gotten one. Yet when I play the quick matches they pop up. So I'm not sure whats up with that. Also if you lose your connection to xbox live while playing a game and sign back in it won't award you your achievements, it'll say something like you switched profiles or changed teams.
Anyways, just felt like posting that heh.
