Hey all! I thought it would be cool to get some crits on my color. I know I've got a lot to improve on, but where are my weaker points?
Thanks!

i think you'll hear different responses based on people's personal preferences.
for me, i like the simple style you've got going on here. i'd keep the line art a little darker, as the color faded lines begin to make the image look a little muddy. the highlights on everyone's boobs is a little harsh, maybe tone it down a bit.
are the trees finished?
i feel that coloring should accent the line art, and not overpower it. every thing's got to work together.

Thanks man for the cirts. I'm doing a few things on here, but for the most part I'm finished. I wanted the trees to kind of fade away and not distract. I agree with you on colors-they shouldn't over power the art too much. I'm hoping to perfect this style more, so your crits are very helpful.

for me personally, i think shading each individual muscles with similar amount of cast shadows can make them look a bit flat. certain shadows in right sides of the figures could have more cast shadows encompassing each other so it looks more rounded. just a thought i had.

That's a good point. I'm trying to stay within a certain type of style-kind of like animation, but that's just lack of abilities that's translating my work as flat. I'm hoping to perfect it, but I'll try to watch those shadows. Thanks for the comments.

The shadows all seem to be going in different directions and with that areas that need shadow casting do not have it IMHO
