Trying even more techniques for coloring practice. Tried to mix some of Dave Stewart's subtle gradations with my painting style. C&C always welcome.

Very nice. I'd cool off the background, but your style fits with Mignola's art.

Thanks BDC. Good point. I had it more towards a green, but when I saved for web as a jpeg it warmed up quite a bit. Even then, it probably could be cooler than I originally had it.

After taking a second look at it, you could also play around with the paper flying around and give them some depth. They're all the same color right now, so they all appear to be on the same plane.

Good point BDC. I did paint some darker/cooler and brighter/warmer, but it's so subtle it must not be enough to notice. I'll push them more.
