View Full Version : Reflected light advice?

The idea behind Wolverine's face being lit on the left was reflected light off of Deadpool's lycra/latex suit. It looked good in inks but in color I'm not so sure.

The grey(ness) of it all is intentional enough. I'm looking for advice on the best ways to nail down reflected lighting. This was my first real attempt.

What's makin it look funky is that if it's a reflected light, it shouldn't be that bright. The flames from GR should light the back of Wolvie's head and shoulders directly, yet they're dimmer than the reflected light on his face.

Brighten up those shoulders a bit (it'd probably kill the overall look/style to add some glow to his hair) and tune down the light on the face.

Hope that helps.
