View Full Version : Riddle me this--CS2 weirdness
So, from Illustrator, I exported a GN to tiffs (188 pages). To do this, I opened 10 pages at a time and ran a macro (action) that took care of the export. HOWEVER, on better than a dozen pages the second layer (there were three) promoted to the top of the file and covered, in full or in part, what was in the top layer. The REAL AI file remained fine...but the export has the second layer above the first. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!?!? :slap:

I've never had any luck with Illustrator Exporting Actions. Something wonky always happens to me. I manually do all the exports. Probably take a couple of hours to do that many pages though... eesh.

Exactly my reasoning. Sigh. Ok. Next time I do it as a photoshop droplet instead and let's see what happens. HA! that'll teach it.

How's CS2 on LZW compression? In CS1, it's not as tight for some reason.

Seems fine to me. It's STILL not as tight as Photoshop 9off the same file even) but it's better than CS1 for sure.
