This is a logo design I came up with for the Photo/TV Group of NASA. I work for United Space Alliance during the day, and while I was attending one of the seemingly endless amounts of meetings I have to go to, they put out a call to have a logo developed so that they could make patches and hats and such with the logo on it. The final version most likely won't include the contractors on the sides, but I figured I'd post the original so my company could get some props. :)

well the camera lens looks ok but the clipart pictures in the middle of the lens are a bit cheesy...

I like the overall image and it would look good printed large or on a website, but you said this is going to be put on patches and hats so I am assuming it will be embroidered. You might want to think about how it will look once all of those transparencies and effects are gone due to the limits of embroidery.

With the exception of the shuttle, I drew everything in Microsoft PhotoDraw. :cry:

Seriously though, I know they look cheesy. I wasn't going for something ultra-detailed. And PhotoDraw is very limited. But at least it killed several hours during the workday. :)

Dab, They wouldn't just be using the image to make patches, but you're right they would lose a lot in the embroidery. I'll leave it to them to figure it out.
