Really good balance of warm and cool tones here. Also works composiotionally if you imagine the spine of the book down the center; seperate focus areas are prevalent.
But what really does it for me? The big guy almost seems kinda' happy. :kewl:

It's a bit nit-picky, but your strong highlights are moving more towards green than yellow.
Otherwise this is outstanding work.

You're right, they do have a bit of a green tint! Thanks!

Always dig yer work Splash, so don't take this wrong, but I think this is some of your weaker work. I'm just not feelin the Splash! vibe on this one.
The main thing I see wrong is that yellow/green rim-light on that rock-textured lookin fella. In the shadows of his arms, I can see you've added in some texture in the colors, but in that rim light there's absolutely zero texture. If his skin was as bumpy as it's implied in the shadow colors, then that rim light needs to be roughed up a bit.
Why is that yellow/green light only on the middle figure and not the other 2?
On that hand holding the head, you have the rim-light hitting the thumb, but not the rest of the hand. From the angle you have that light coming from, it's the fingers and back of the hand that should have the rim light, and the thumb shouldn have less as the head would be blocking the light source.
Yer shadows are shifting to black muddying up the the piece quite a bit.

Thanks Mudcat! I will have to get back in and address those issues, now that I have had a decent nights sleep and come back and look at it I see things that really bother me about this piece, I appreciate you comments man, I think this will help me to become a stronger colorist!
