Does anybody know thet release date for the XBOX 360 Elite? For those who don't know, Xbox will shove out a black 360 with a 120mb hard drive and an HDMI connection.

Only thing I havn't found yet is a street date.

I think I'm going the way of modding a fatter hard drive into my existing 360. $180 for 120g of space is armed robbery. Beautiful system, though.

Hard drive is nice I guess... but I'm after the HDmI. So $180 for that kinda' package is worth it. It's gonna' seriously cut down on the wire-nightmare I have currently with so many set of components vid. The HDmI all by itself will eliminate 2 sets.

I was referring to the separate hard drive they're selling, for those who have the original systems.

HDMI is cool. It definitely helps with cable management, since it carries a digital audio AND video signal from the box to your TV/receiver. Me? I'm cool with my component for now, and can't see myself upgrading my 360 just yet. A great buy for new potential 360 customers in the market for the console, however.

Never heard of this. In related news, Moore did dispel the rumors of an XBox 360 redesign codenamed 'Zephyr' in the new EGM. Not happening.
