Cover mock up - Opinions requested

i have absolutely know idea what is happening on the cover (caked earth and pineapples?), but the trade dress is LIGHTYEARS improved!!!

OK, after staring at the cover for a good sixty seconds straight, I figuered it out. Plants are growing out of the footprints of whomever is walking accross the 'screen.'

A few suggestions...pull back(up) to show more landscape and at least one more full set of foot prints. The foot prints furthest away can have lots of growth (as long as it's still distinguesable that they are foot prints) and the foot prints closest to the character can have very little, but noticable, plantlife growing in them. This will better relate what your point is, that plants are grownig out of the footsteps.

Also, artistically, a little shadow/contrast would be great. Don't leave everything up to the colorist.

All in all a very cool idea for the cover.

even with that explaination from dwldirector I still can't understand what is going on. Perhaps I will when it is coloured
