Unusually high levels of Pockets are a cheap way out! So are fake guns.
If you're drawing The Punisher, a character who's whole shtick IS guns, perhaps an artist should at least glance at a Soldier of Fortune mag. Even a quick google.

Yeah, get rid of the turned down boot tops, clean up the skull in star design and replace the big skull with that, cut the pockets down by half, get rid of the two giant fake handguns and replace them with one futuristic Doom/Unreal-style semiautomatic attack rifle/grenade launcher and a normal handgun in a shoulder holster.

The minute Frank Castle picked up Cap's mask, I wanted him to run around as Captain America for a while. Nothing long-term, mind you, but I'd like to see the legacy from another pov. And I really think both men are cut from the same cloth.

Normally I'd agree, but unlike some of us here assume, I doubt we'll see a "Kill 'em all" Cap-isher. They're probably some high tech rubber bullet 'n' tranq type guns.

Seriously, what art director thinks this is the right look for Frank running around with Cap's mask? Why not just USE Frank running around with Captain America's mask?! How are people going to interpret this character as a new Cap when he looks more like a Cable VII action figure?

I'm not an artist so I really have no stake in it but, given that once in awhile Marvel editors do check out the forums, that strikes me as a good idea for some of you...

But after Cap's death, the young man receives a package leading him to the States, where he begins to uncover clues to the real truth behind the hero's termination and to his lineage, and once he realizes he's the lost son of Steve Rodgers, the Cannuck takes up the mantle of his father to become... I had this pic up on my computer at work the other day, and every time someone walked by it they couldn't stop laughing. One of my customers actually fell over he was laughing so hard. It was fun. This costume would be great if it weren't for all the extraneous details and pockets/pouches. Clean it up a bit and it could rock. Streamlined is always good.
