hey all,

i am currently drawing a webcomic, and i really wants some tips in my colouring, as i felt that it is a little weak.
the kind of style i use in the colouring is the 3 layers kind, one is the basic colour, then the shadow, then the lighting.

please give me tips on how to improve the cg colour.

well, what probably would be best for you to start off with is dont add shadows to your flats if you can help it. make the flats darker and just add highlight from there. it keeps it cleaner ^__^

also, dont use white for your highlights. maybe you should study color choice and color theory a bit too, would help alot.

Nice start, Sarah is right, but I'll give you the easiest way to choose your high lights and this is how i choose my high lights.

By using this procedure, later on you'll learn how to choose the right color for your drawings.

have fun!!!
