Writer John August (CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY) let slip on his blog that he'd be writing the script for Shazam. He will be working with Geoff Johns to adapt.

Batman Begins
Maggie Gyllenhaal as Rachel Dawes should be made official soon.

She is still in talks. Either the ink has not dried yet, or they are expanding her part.

Final negotiations just means they're negotiating salary specifics. She's in.

If it ends up getting made. They're also planning a JLA movie. If that manages to make it to the screen, perhaps GL might make an appearance there.
