Galaxy looks awesome. I was a huge fan of Mario64, and am glad to see the familiar mechanics in a prettier, updated environment.

Heck, I enjoyed Sunshine. It was a step down to be sure, but I still had fun playing through it.

Galaxy looks good, Paper Mario looks like a reject from the snes.

I'll give Super Paper Mario a play 'cause the last installment, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, was actually great fun.

Who cares? If the game is good, the graphics don't matter so much (especially considering how the graphics are part of the gimmick).

I'm probably in the minority, but I'm actually looking forward to Paper Mario more so than Galaxy.

Not that I'm not looking forward to Galaxy, but the gameplay in Paper Mario looks like a lot of fun.

Marvin.
You got that right. The snes style graphics hurt the animation. Mario has a total of 3. Because of that when it goes into 3d it looks horrible. With SNES style gameplay, you get static AI. Galaxy looks to have changed that. Horrah for progress.

I will agree with that, I did like Thousand Year Door.

Amen Brother. Even though I wasn't into the first Paper Mario!

Back on topic.

Although it looks to complicated for my old lady, who loves Super Mario #1, I'm going to freak when I get my hands on that badboy. I love me a good Mario. His voice came to my table at SDCC and it was hilarious!! Nice fellow.
