I just finished playing the demo on my 360 man what a blast. It's a very cool game from the guys that did fight night 3 .

No? For why?

Oh, and what was the last game you were impressed with for the 360?

I just saw 'Gears of War' (yes, ancient history for some of you), played at a customer's house. I'll be giving that a shot soon. I was impressed with the general atmosphere of the game, from what parts I could see.

I'm really disappointed they abandoned the AKI game engine. After making making vast improvements from the first Def Jam game to Fight for NY, I was excited to see what was in store for the next gen systems. Then I saw they traded in the multiple fighting style grappling system for a regular punch and kick game with corny background graphics. It really turned me off to the new game.

I played the game the other day on my friends 360 and I agree, they tried too hard to make it less of a wrestling game and more straight fighting which I found really disappointing. The fighting and wrestling mechanics were what made the game worth playing. They're making it more about rap and hip hop which I really don't follow, I didn't recognize half the character roster.

Um... not that I really have to justify why I didn't like something, but because it was a basic brawler with no depth and flashy graphics.

Aren't flashy graphics good?

$60 for a pretty game that plays like an old Deta East brawler, no thanks.

i didn't like the demo either, all the characters seemed to do was kick and punch... felt like i was just playing GTA without a weapon... nice ghaphics though, the game really did T.I. well. but i doubt i'll pick it up.

I liked the old gameplay better, when it was like the N64 wrestlers.

the depth of the fighting system comes in when you start to use the back ground you can control the back ground music ad some of the features in the levels with the L2 button and one of the sticks. I agree after a while it may not be as fun though. it would have been nice to have more grappling moves but wrestling really isn't my thing.
