Kristanna Loken (Terminator 3, BloodRayne) will star as Jane Vasco in the new SCI FI Channel series Painkiller Jane (based on the comic book series of the same name, created by Jimmy Palmiotti and Joe Quesada). Loken plays Jane, a government agent who can't be killed. She is also co-executive producer for the series.

Wouldn't this show be so much better if she actually looked like Painkiller Jane. Not that Kristanna isn't a babe, it is just that she (the comic version of Painkiller Jane) looked cool wrapped up in bandages. Now it looks like a new form of DARK ANGEL.

She got out of Bloodrayne 2 because of this show. Smart girl.

Seldom malicious, neuros often can't control their powers. Consequently, they tend to leave a trail of death and destruction. To prevent a panic, the government has kept the discovery of neuros a secret, assembling a covert unit to identify and contain neuros.

Sounds like the premise to Witch Hunter Robin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Witch_Hunter_Robin) .

And what do you know, SciFi did rip it off from the anime. It was announced back in 2004 that they will make a Witch Hunter Robin live action TV series before they dropped it. We got this instead.

Jennifer Beals looks like she's hardly aged since then ;) . Smokin' hot. Admittedly, I watched the show's first two seasons, and then fell off right before they introduced the other 8796239487245 other lesbians. What was I thinking!?

Why? You would miss intelligent, well written television that way...and there is far too little of that to be avoiding my brother.

Has nothing to do with it. If I want intelligent, well written drama, I turn off the TV completely and interact with my family. TV is an escape for me. I DO enjoy intelligent TV (I love House), but I have to get away from life to enjoy it. No slam on L at all...it's just not appointment TV for me.
