I started inking on some bristol board and here's the results. Its been awhile since I've done this. I decided to use a brand new nib on this piece and it started ripping up the paper because the nib was soo sharp. I forgot to fill a test page up with inked lines from this new nib. I also forgot to use the backside of the page because that side is much smoother than the front to ink on.

Hi zpro1... good job man. The lines are very precise and the textures are nice too... congrats!!!

Yes, but for the most part, they're all the same weight. While I agree that this is clean, sharp and shows a good deal of control, more varied line weights in the right places will ad form and give a better sense of the play of light across the surface.

Thanks for the replies. Any inkers out there let me know or give me a hint on some specific areas to increase the line widths. Should the widths be thicked were I already have them a little thicker already. Its easier for me to see the faults in others than it is in my own art at times. Well most of the times. :whistlin:
